| This is my version of the Ez-Launch
antenna wire hoister.
I bought a cheap fishing spinner (reel) in the
hobby aisle of a Rutland VT department store. The spinner was
$5.97 with 180 yards of 8-lb test line already on it. A new Daisy
Powerline Sling Shot sells for $7.99, but I already had one but it was
in need of new elastic tubing which I bought as a kit that including the
ammo pouch at Dicks Sporting Goods for $3.99. Two hose clamps -
$1.98. One-half foot clear tubing = $0.49. Three one-half
ounce lead sinkers - $1.99. I also bought two 1-ounce sinkers for
$1.99.

| Success log. 5/08/2010 206ft random wire up 60 foot tree 1st attempt: 1/2 oz sinker. Sinker broke from fishing line taking off like a rocket!!! 2nd attempt 1 oz. sinker didn't clear the tree. 3rd attempt. Absolute perfect!!!! A 206 foot random wire is up and running. Using a Palstar AT1500CV antenna tuner the random wire works well on 160 through 10 meters including WARC bands. First Key-up Does it work? Yes. Very well. First key-up log follows.
